Returns Policy

 

7 days after the goods have been received the order can no longer be cancelled or returned.

 

1. Return Procedure

  1. If you suspect that a product may be faulty please contact Gibson Computers by email, with regards to any troubleshooting that may be required, after this Gibson Computers will advise the product be returned to them for further testing if the problem persists and a return data sheet should be completed by the customer.
  2. If no fault is found please be aware the cost of delivery back to the customer and an administration fee would be applied to the customer returning the product.
  3. If Gibson Computers confirm the fault, the product will either be replaced or returned for repair. Within 28 calendar days a further option of refund may apply.
  4. Alternatively after 28 calendar days, the product can be returned directly to the manufacturer for a quicker resolution; however manufacturers will also require troubleshooting. Gibson Computers would be happy to locate and / or provide customers with manufacturers return details, if this is an option they wish to use.

 

If the suspected faulty component is attached to other components, Gibson Computers require only the purchased product.

 

The risk and title will lie with the customer until the product is received by Gibson Computers, please take adequate precautions when packaging the product for return*. If the product is not in a suitable package and is received with physical damage, the return cannot be completed.

 

*Static sensitive products should be packaged in static shielded bag, or container.

 

 

2. Items Damaged in Transit

 

If a customer finds that their product has been damaged in transit, they should consult section 4 of Gibson Computers Terms and Conditions.

 

 

3. Items Faulty on Arrival

 

If your items are either faulty on arrival or develop a fault within the first 28 days, you have 28 calendar days in which to inform us of the fault. Items should be returned in the condition they were received in original packaging with all contents that were supplied with the product. Having confirmed the fault, a replacement will be issued or at the discretion of Gibson Computers, full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs. Gibson Computers do test returned products please consult section 1B of Gibson Computers returns policy for further details.

 

 

4. If you change your mind

 

If you change your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 7 days of receipt+. The item must not be used and must be 'as new' when returned to us. Once you've informed us that you wish to return goods under the DSR, you have 28 calendar days to do so, at your own expense. Once the item is received by Gibson Computers a full refund will be issued for the product to your original payment method.

            A. Software that has be tampered with or unsealed
