We have a purpose built workshop which is approximately 3 minutes away from the retail premises. Here we have 12 benches where we build and repair desktop computers and a further 6-8 benches which accommodate laptop repairs. Our aim is to diagnose the problem within 3 days however this is dependant upon the length of time repairs in front of yours take.

If you are having problems with your computer then please bring it to Gibson Computers, 69 Bridge St, where you will be asked specific questions about the problems you have been having – the more information you can give the better – this helps us with the diagnostic process. You will also be asked if you have any important data required to be backed up. Please be ready to answer as its important for the technitions to know what you need to ensure data will not be lost. You will then be given a repair sheet which contains your unique job number should you wish to ring for a progress update or if you have any further information you wish to give us. At this point you will be asked for a £20 diagnosis fee which will be offset against the full cost of the repair.
We do also offer a priority queue for customers that may need the repair done faster than the standard queue. This will result in a 50% increase in all labour charges but is completed in half the time.
