Data

It is important for us to know if you have data that needs to be saved in the event that the hard drive needs attention.  You will be asked to complete a data sheet when you bring in your computer.  It is important that we know where to find your data and which user name it is saved under.  This helps us identify it quickly should we need to copy it for you. Gibson Computers know how important data is to our customers and  every care is taken to ensure that data is not lost, however it can sometimes be corrupted, unreadable or destroyed depending on the problem with your machine.  Gibson Computers cannot be held responsible for any lost data.

Data Recovery

We can try and recover data from memory sticks, memory cards, external hard drives etc, however we have to point out that we are NOT data recovery specialists and do not have the facilities to undertake this specialist work.  However we often do have success if you have not continued to overwrite your device when the data has been lost. This is usually quoted per job as each individual will have different amounts of data.
